V-Marine at the forefront of future tourism conversations
V-Marine joined global tourism leaders at the World Tourism Forum Institute Leaders Dinner in Dubai in April 2025.

In April 2025, V-Marine attended the World Tourism Forum Institute Leaders Dinner in Dubai, an evening on the future of travel that brought together tourism leaders, industry pioneers and decision-makers from around the world. The focus was how innovation and sustainability are shaping the next era of tourism.

Driving change through innovation
For V-Marine, it was a chance to contribute to a conversation close to our purpose: rethinking coastal tourism through floating infrastructure and forward-thinking hospitality. Our founder and CEO, Wael Joujou, spoke about how we are bringing that vision to life through projects that are imaginative and also grounded in real-world impact.
He spoke too about the need to rethink tourism in a way that supports both people and nature. As travellers look for more meaningful and memorable experiences, the answers have to be thoughtful, adaptable and respectful of the places they touch. That is where our work comes in.
Floating solutions for a sustainable future
We see water as space full of potential, where destinations can grow and visitors can experience something remarkable without the environmental footprint of traditional development. Our floating resorts, yachts and marine platforms give places with limited land or sensitive coastlines a flexible way to welcome tourism, ready for what comes next.

Global recognition for marine innovation
Being invited to a global stage of this kind confirmed the momentum behind marine innovation. The conversations were open and grounded in action, and there is clearly growing interest in new ideas that are already shaping what comes next.
A shared mission
We are grateful to the World Tourism Forum Institute for creating a space where collaboration leads to real change. Evenings like this remind us why we do this work, and push us to keep extending what marine destinations can be.
