Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative VR Game Developer to join our new Game Development Division. The ideal candidate will lead the creation of immersive VR experiences that showcase our marine designs and innovations. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to turn real-world boat designs into interactive, VR-ready environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize VR game experiences using Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with our design team to transform 3D boat and yacht designs into VR-ready models.
- Manage complex VR game development projects from concept to completion.
- Create realistic 3D environments, animations, and interactions for VR.
- Optimize 3D assets for VR performance while maintaining visual quality.
- Implement interactive features to enhance user experiences in VR.
- Conduct performance testing and bug fixing for VR projects.
- Stay updated with the latest VR technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in VR game development with Unreal Engine.
- Proficiency in 3D design software (3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender).
- Strong portfolio showcasing VR projects, especially those involving real-world designs.
- Ability to prepare VR-ready models from complex 3D designs.
- Familiarity with lighting, texturing, and optimization for VR environments.
- Experience in project management and leading creative development teams.
- Preferred: Background in architecture, ship-building, or related fields.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
