V-Marine W.L.L. has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification by Bureau Veritas, one of the world’s foremost certification and classification bodies. The milestone recognises the Bahrain-based manufacturer of luxury catamaran House-Yachts, Hotel Yachts, and bespoke floating structures. It confirms that V-Marine’s Quality Management System meets the international benchmark for consistency, customer focus, and continual improvement across the design, manufacture, and delivery of its vessels and floating properties.

What ISO 9001:2015 Means
ISO 9001:2015 is the world’s most widely recognised standard for Quality Management Systems, published by the International Organization for Standardisation. It does not certify a single product; it certifies the system an organisation uses to deliver quality consistently, audited and verified by an independent third party.
The 2015 revision places particular emphasis on strong leadership, risk-based thinking, and a relentless focus on meeting customer requirements. Certification is not a one-time stamp. It is earned through a structured audit process and maintained through ongoing surveillance audits, meaning the standard must be lived every day, not just on inspection day.
Why It Matters for Our Clients
For anyone commissioning a vessel or a floating structure, this certification is a tangible assurance. It means that from the first line of a design drawing to final handover, V-Marine works to documented, repeatable, and continually reviewed processes. Materials are traceable. Quality checks are recorded. Customer requirements are captured and verified at every stage.
For a builder working in GRP composites and marine construction, that discipline is the foundation everything else rests on. ISO 9001 certifies that the organisation behind every vessel operates to a recognised, independently audited quality standard, giving owners confidence that runs from the company all the way down to the hull.
The Path to Certification
Achieving certification involved a rigorous, multi-stage audit by Bureau Veritas, examining V-Marine’s quality management system in practice across the business: leadership and planning, design and development, production and process control, quality control and traceability, customer satisfaction, internal auditing, and management review. The assessment confirmed that V-Marine’s processes meet the requirements of the standard and that the systems to sustain and improve them are firmly in place. This certification was issued by Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS – UK Branch (certificate no. BH002604) on 27-01-2026 and is valid through 26-01-2029, covering the manufacturing of Luxury Hotel-Yachts, Floating Properties, and Leisure or Commercial Boats.
A Word from Our Leadership
“Quality has never been a box we tick at the end. It is how we think from the first concept to final delivery. This certification from Bureau Veritas formalises a discipline that already runs through everything we build, and it gives our clients independent assurance that the standards we hold ourselves to are real, documented, and audited.”
— Wael Joujou, Chief Executive Officer
Looking Ahead
ISO 9001:2015 certification is a milestone, not a destination. The standard is built around continual improvement, and that is precisely how V-Marine intends to treat it: as a framework for getting better, year after year, as we expand the Rise House-Yacht and Aquator Hotel Yacht ranges and take on increasingly ambitious floating-structure projects across the GCC, the Maldives, and beyond.
