We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing process of high-performance yachts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of carbon fiber construction and infusion techniques, specifically for yachts designed to reach speeds of over 50 knots. This role requires extensive hands-on experience in managing the production of lightweight yet robust yacht structures, ensuring high performance and structural integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the entire manufacturing process of yachts, from raw material sourcing to final assembly, with a focus on carbon fiber and infusion techniques.
- Lead and manage production teams to ensure timely and high-quality builds, meeting all project deadlines and specifications.
- Ensure that the carbon fiber infusion process is executed efficiently, producing lightweight, strong hulls and structures optimized for high-speed performance (50+ knots).
- Collaborate closely with naval architects and engineers to ensure designs are executed according to technical specifications.
- Monitor production quality at every stage, implementing best practices to maintain consistency and high standards in craftsmanship.
- Manage resources, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to ensure cost-effective production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any production challenges, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining safety standards.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in manufacturing techniques, carbon fiber technology, and performance optimization for high-speed yachts.
